As part of its commitment to sustainable development and resource efficiency, the Company captures carbon dioxide (CO₂) generated during the ethanol fermentation process and converts it into a value-added product instead of releasing it into the atmosphere. This initiative not only creates additional business value but also contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and supporting a low-carbon economy.
To further advance this commitment, the Company has entered into a 15-year Carbon Dioxide (CO₂) Offtake Agreement with Sicgil (Thailand) Co., Ltd. Commercial supply commenced in 2025, marking an important milestone in maximizing the value of by-products from the ethanol production process while promoting environmental sustainability.
